The Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge for the week of June 17, 2016.
For this week’s challenge, get inspired by the curves around you. From curves in architecture to bends in nature to man-made undulations, you have lots to work with!
There’s not too many things more curved than a snake — especially when you disturb him while he’s trying to sunbathe. This little garter snake was trying to look as fierce as he could so I would go away and leave him alone, so I took a few photos, then gently shooed him off to the side of the trail and sent him on his curvilinear way.
Yes, you’re a big scary snake! Now run along.

Deadly curves, nicely captured
I’m crazy about dogs, too. Snakes? Not so. But here they are likely to be rattlers.
Yes, we have a lot of rattlers here too, they enjoy sunning themselves on the paved bike trail, but I haven’t run into any yet this year.
Beautiful. I have never seen one like this.
The red spots are a nice touch, aren’t they? 😉
