Local bridges

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge for this week is Bridges.

Bridges come in all shapes and sizes.  It can be a small bridge just long enough to cross a small stream or creek to bridge that spans for miles.  Your bridge can be one of beauty and geometry to just a couple of wooden planks to cross your bridge.  As long as your bridge was meant for people to cross it, you can display it here.

Bridges are one of my very favorite things to photograph; I have a pretty large collection of bridge images — modern and historic, large and small.  I’m also lucky enough to have three very remarkable bridges practically in my back yard!

Still, I always get excited when I find a new bridge or two to capture with my camera… especially if I discover them while exploring the local trails.
