Mysterious Pyramid
When I photographed the pyramid in the 1980s, it was situated in the middle of an oak woodland sprinkled with small ponds that were wonderful for fishing. It was a startling sight — right there, under the trees, stood a ring of huge boulders, and in the middle of the circle, this rather eerie mystery in stone.

Thanks to the Internet I eventually learned about the site! Check out the two links embedded in my post. The pyramid is actually the burial place of the former landowner. Super interesting — although a bit creepy too! 😃
