Coming home from our Christmas trip to Texas, I was so happy to get the window seat on the flight from Dallas-Fort Worth back to Sacramento!  Usually I’m sitting on the aisle; and while that’s not so bad… well, there’s usually not much to look at.

This time, I was ready with my trusty Finepix AX655 and spent at least half of the 3-1/2 hour flight aiming my lens out the window.  Luckily, there was plenty of impressive scenery.

Once we were over California, I started looking for familiar landmarks. Some of them I was only able to positively identify after arriving home; and others I recognized right away.

It’s great to be home — but traveling can be a lot of fun too!
