Summing up: 2016 in review

This is my very first year-end retrospective post! 2016 was the first year I began taking my blogging more seriously, posting on a regular basis with more scheduled posts. I’ve still got plenty to learn as I go forward, but I think I’m off to a promising start.

And much thanks goes to you, my fellow bloggers and readers, for your wonderful blogs and your words of encouragement.

I’ve spent the morning looking back through everything I’ve written this year and found that the Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenges seem to be the most popular. Here are 2016’s five most viewed posts:

WPC: Vibrant from January had the most views of the year

I posted WPC: Details in mid July

Another Weekly Photo Challenge was Abstract, posted in April

WPC: Fun in August and WPC: Harmony in March had an equal number of views

WPC: Life Imitates Art from February got quite a number of views

Finally, here are a few of my favorite images from 2016:

  1. Nice review of your work through the year! I must be a lazy follower I, missed most of the posts you featured. I do remember “Details” though, I like that one a lot.

    • Thanks — it was actually your great retrospective post that inspired me to make the effort this morning!
