The theme of Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week is Sky.

Your photos can be a brilliant blue sky or a stormy sky.  You can have objects in the sky or not.  I just want to see plenty of blue skies and skies that are full of clouds and storms.

A sky full of ever-changing clouds has been one of my favorite photographic subjects lately, thanks to some wildly unpredictable weather these last few months.

Sometimes the sky’s character can change in a only an hour or two, or overnight as it did last week at Clear Lake.

Here’s a shot of blue sky from March that I caught purely by accident — in fact, I took the picture without even knowing the camera was on! (In my defense, I was heading toward home after a long hike.)

And sometimes you don’t even have to leave home to see an amazing sunset.
