Under Hazel Avenue bridge

I took my bike out for a spin the other day for the first time in quite a while. Wanting to travel light, I tucked the small Fujifilm camera into my bag — although shooting pictures wasn’t my main goal. Still, as I paused in the shade of the bridge, the sun sparkling on the water caught my eye. I fumbled my camera out of the bag… only to find I’d forgotten to load the batteries! Luckily I had my phone in my pocket. Not the greatest picture, but better than no picture at all!

  1. I can relate to that. I have two batteries, use one, charge the other, but still, forget to pay attention when the battery is low! I too, use my phone, sometimes.

    • Thank goodness for the phone’s camera! When I bought my new Canon, I made sure to buy three batteries so I’d always have a spare. I even have a little sleeve to carry them in, and it’s already come in handy a few times. 😀

      • Oh My new Canon uses the same battery as the old one, that’s how I got two. When I remember, I would put the extra in my purse. But not always…
