This week, share a visual moment of blissful quiet.
I went out this morning looking for a serene spot; I found myself hiking across the small Norma Hamlin bridge and into Snipes Ravine, only a few blocks from my house. I’ve walked along this trail many times, in all types of weather, and it’s one of my favorite neighborhood escapes. But today I ventured off the established path, following a game trail down the hill and through the trees to the empty creek bed. I had the place all to myself except for some birds, and the morning’s thick fog had lifted and was breaking up, revealing patches of blue sky.
