Juvenile bald eagle above Lake Natoma
The Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge for the week of December 19, 2017
To celebrate the end of the year, share the most meaningful photo you’ve taken in 2017.
The photos that are the most special to me this year are shots of local wildlife that I never would have been able to capture without my new Canon’s zoom lens. In the case of the bald eagle, I knew which tree the adults had been nesting in, and I kept returning to the area, hoping for a good shot. All the other images were purely chance encounters.
