A couple of weeks ago I posted images of a small decorated stone I found on one of my walks through my neighborhood; that was the first time I realized this is a fun thing some groups of people have started doing, often leaving inspirational messages painted on the back of these painted rocks.

So when I spotted another brightly decorated rock today, after photographing the front I turned it over to see what I might find on the back. It was difficult to make out, but I’m pretty sure that like the previous one I’d found it says,”Orangevale Rocks.”  I’m not sure which side I like better — the painted face on the front, or the completely accidental face on the back!
