It’s been far too long since I’ve gone out hiking in the morning. I shot this picture in October 2016 along one of my favorite local trails — but I had to think for a few minutes before I remembered the approximate location. The appearance of these smaller paths is constantly evolving as the underbrush grows and some of the trees fall or are removed. I hope I can get back out there soon and revisit this spot to see what it looks like today.
