Memory Monday slides redux, Week 35

Our trusty VW “pop-top” camper, with the Cascades in the background

May 1976 — I wasn’t invited along (but that’s okay!) when my mom and dad took this road trip up to central Washington State. Mom had recently graduated from California State University, Sacramento, and this getaway to her favorite place on Earth was her well-deserved reward. Leavenworth sits in the midst of the Cascade range, and there’s plenty of beautiful scenery. I originally shared several images from this trip back in March 2017, including Memory Monday Week 18.
