In the midst of an abnormally dry January and February, the water level at Folsom Lake is currently lower than at this point in the past two years. Still, recreational users are accustomed to seeing the exposed rocks and muddy lake bed every winter; and on this sunny afternoon in mid February there were plenty of hikers, cyclists, and people just hanging out and enjoying some fresh air.
