Christine, where is this?
These shots are from the Magnolia Ranch Trailhead, on Highway 49 near Pilot Hill. My first and last shots were along the Gerle Loop Trail, and the others were taken on a small trail that runs right along the American River and starts near the Greenwood Creek Boat Launch area. Hope that helps! It’s a very cool place to hike, and I’m hoping to get back and do some more exploring soon.
