I just happened to come across this post card this afternoon; it was sent to me as a freebie several months ago when I ordered an item from a wonderful Etsy seller in Ukraine — her shop is called Old Treasures From Kiev. I already knew a few things about the history of the region, but I’ll admit that although I saved the card I barely gave it a second glance until today. How poignant it seems to me now! I pray for Elena’s safety and for the safety of all those who are forced to face this current threat to their freedom and their lives.
