In all the 20-odd years that we’ve been coming to visit the Big Guy’s parents in this part of Texas, we never managed to find time to explore Grapevine Lake — even though it was only a short drive away from their house. So on this trip we’re trying to check out a few of the shoreline access points, like this one in Flower Mound. And even though we accidentally managed to annoy a couple of park rangers (oops!) all in all it was a good day out.
