Amarillo, Texas
Most of my time in Texas earlier this month was spent indoors, helping to sort through the belongings left behind by my dear father-in-law. But when I did have a few spare minutes to grab my camera, I could usually find something intriguing to shoot.
Hippo at a Keller shopping center
I’m curious about the hippo statue (along with a lion, not pictured) found near the Tom Thumb supermarket in Keller, because a year or so earlier I clearly recalled spotting two identical figures six miles away, in a Tom Thumb shopping center in Trophy Club. These latter have since been removed (or perhaps relocated).
