All these California storms are proving a bit too much even for heavy equipment to handle. I found this guy turned over on his side just down the street from my house! Luckily I was able to get him back upright; it’s only a matter of time before the next wave of the storm blows through.

The seasonal ponds at Mississippi Bar are some of my favorite subjects to photograph. During the recent drought years these ponds ceased to exist; now they’ve come back again for their short time.
