It seemed a shame to leave this Easter basket lying on the sidewalk in the rain. I’m hoping it finds its way back where it belongs!

I’m not sure why a fire extinguisher was floating in Lake Natoma or how it got there; I do know it made me do a double take and go back to make sure I wasn’t hallucinating. I also hope that someone retrieved it and disposed of it properly.
This morning I took a stroll along the lower half of Lakeshore Boulevard, a tiny road running between Highway 20 and the waters of Clear Lake in Nice, California. This stretch is less than a mile long, but I had no trouble finding plenty of interesting details for my camera.
