I couldn’t resist trying to shoot last night’s crescent moon, although I wasn’t using a tripod and the image is a little blurry. I was using a setting where the camera takes three shots in succession; so perhaps tonight I’ll get outside with the tripod and see if I can do a little better.
Waking up to morning fog on the Sonoma coast is never a surprise; it’s just part of the beauty of this part of California. Even after the mist burned off, we noticed some interesting cloud formations over the ocean — and later on a really beautiful sunset.
