Hit the road, Jack
Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week is Freeways, Expressways, Highways.
These roads should be easy for both cars and trucks to drive on. Most of the roads I am looking for are multi-lane freeways. Although a nice two way highway that doesn’t get a lot of traffic on it can work too. The thing is to have a lot of fun with this challenge.
The first three photos below were taken about 16 years ago, on a road trip from Sacramento to the San Francisco Bay area. My final image was taken a few months ago on the very winding and scenic coastal highway somewhere south of historic Fort Ross.

Check out the traffic in the Bay area. Wonderful photos for this week’s challenge. Thanks for playing. 😀
And that was 16 years ago! I suspect it must be worse now! 🙂
Those last two photos capture the dark side of the road trip. Oddly, even a traffic jam or slow vehicle can become part of the good memories. 🙂
