I started out the other morning thinking it would be fun to shoot some mushrooms at ground level, using my mini tripod. Even with the tripod, all the crouching and bending down to ensure a decent focus wasn’t exactly a delight, but I was mostly happy with my results. (Click to enlarge.)
But once I got home and had a chance to examine the images on my computer screen, something caught my eye that I’d barely noticed before — the shiny dewdrops on the grass.
My little Finepix AX655 is a great general camera but has its limits when it comes to extremes on either end. Still, enlarging and cropping some of the pictures gave me this:
Which gave me a bright idea for my walk the next morning — to specifically search out the dew-covered grass and weeds. (Click to enlarge.)
