I’ve been reading about a lot of snake encounters in my area lately — both in the state park or just in somebody’s yard or even their garage. I have yet to see any snakes this year, but I did notice this alligator lizard hanging out in my back yard this morning. He’s a welcome visitor; and from that smug look in his eye, he seems to know it!
