City break
When I visited the site of the Sutro Baths, I saw only a very small portion of San Francisco’s Lincoln Park. The park is located on the western edge of the peninsula, a bit north of Golden Gate Park, and includes the Legion of Honor Museum, the USS San Francisco Memorial, a golf course that used to be a cemetery, and miles of hiking trails around the area of Lands End. Lincoln Park was also the western terminus of the Lincoln Highway — which is where the park got its name.
With the cool ocean breezes, scenic hiking trails, and so much to see, I’m hoping to spend a lot more time exploring the entire area of Lands End on my next trip to San Francisco.
