The Adventure Continues… Skunk Train
Anyone who knows me knows I absolutely love trains, and I have longed to ride the Skunk Train between Fort Bragg and Willets ever since the first time I visited Fort Bragg as a child. Sadly, an excursion on the California Western Railroad is still on my to-do list — but since the Skunk Train is so popular and well-known, I just might make it one of these days.
Following the the coastal “Redwood Route” as it has since 1885, the Skunk
Train takes Huell on an inspiring ride through ageless redwoods and over
spectacular mountains. It began as a logging train taking valuable lumber
to the Mendocino Coast, and now provides passengers a glimpse of history
and scenic beauty.
