Pollinators

Spring’s colorful blooms may be long gone, but there are still plenty of flowers and other plants full of tempting nectar for bees and other pollinators. This field of common madia on the south shore of the American River was buzzing with activity yesterday morning — a perfect chance to me to work on my bee-photographing skills.
