I love shooting commercial signs, especially the old-style neon ones. My favorite vintage neon sign was at a roadside motel in Clear Lake, California. I’m so glad I photographed it in 2017, because when I went back in 2019, it was gone! It’s tough to find these old neons around my neighborhood, but San Francisco is full of them, along with plenty of other intriguing signs.
