This week I chose a slightly different kind of adventure — a 2005 episode of Huell’s show Visiting in which he pays a house call in Bell Gardens and meets a very warm and convivial Cuban family. As if Neal and his family weren’t colorful enough, wait until you see the collection of over 500 vibrant red canaries that he keeps in his back yard!

Who knew canaries were red? Huell visits the House of the Red Canary in Bell Gardens and learns about the origin of this unique bird.
