I finally got outside for a walk to Negro Bar State Park this morning; and even though I did get rained on just a little, I didn’t mind. I had the trails mostly to myself, and the sun peeked out for a few minutes, lighting up the Palisades, before ducking back behind the clouds. I didn’t see any Mallards out and about — but I did spot a couple of Common Goldeneyes. All in all, a very nice January morning.
