Poolside with Mom; Culiacan, 1968

This week my slides all date from the Summer of 1968; I think that was our first trip to Mexico, and it was a real adventure. I’m just sorry I can’t remember more of the details (since I was only about 7 at the time). It does seem to me that we spent more time in motels — and in swimming pools — in that first year than we did in our subsequent summer trips (later on we tended to sleep in our camper or stay with local families). I originally posted some of these photos in January 2018.
