Three amigos
I’ve been busy reorganizing my collection of old prints this week, and of course I have a load of photos of our dogs. It’s been 10 years now since we lost Buster, Gabby, and Pinkie (they died within a few months of each other, and I blogged about Buster’s passing in April 2010). I still miss those dogs deeply, but enough time has passed that these days I can look back at the photos and videos I shot of them and laugh at the memories instead of cry… mostly.
These photos were shot in March 1997, when Buster was 3 years old. Gabby had been with us since early 1995, after we had found her living on the street and adopted her. Hanging around the edges of their game was Pinkie, one of their ten puppies born on July 5, 1995.

What a precious story about your three best friends!
Thank you. Dogs never seem to live long enough, but we were lucky to have Buster in our lives for 14 years, and the other two for slightly less. One of these days we’ll get another dog or two, but I never want to forget this awesome trio and all the joy they gave us. 🙂
