The Adventure Continues… Wrigley Botanical Garden
Today the chances are high that I’m somewhere in the outdoors, soaking up some natural beauty and avoiding anything to do with current events. And after watching this episode of California’s Golden Parks — originally aired in January 2006 — I would just love to be on Catalina Island exploring this beautiful and unique botanical garden. I’ve been a botanical garden enthusiast ever since my first visit to the Strybing Arboretum in Golden Gate Park back in 2016, and any time I have the chance to explore a garden that’s new to me, I’m there! This botanical garden contains an impressive collection of succulents from around the world as well as many plants and trees found only in the Channel Islands; and the “payoff,” as Huell might say is the view from the 130-foot tower built and decorated with all local materials.
Huell boats to Catalina Island and visits the The Wrigley Memorial & Botanical Gardens.
