I had some rather cute visitors to my back porch the other morning — a couple of green anole lizards and one Texas spiny lizard. The latter was so very shy that I was very lucky to get one shot at it before it fled; whereas the anoles didn’t seem to mind my presence much at all. Still, I did get one or two curious/suspicious glances from one of them.
