In late May this year I took Gus with me on a trip to the Mendocino coast, and we stayed in a wonderful house with a lush and inviting back garden. Among all the colorful plants and flowers, the most eye-catching were the gorgeous rhododendrons. Although we both enjoyed our stay, at the time I felt the house was larger than we needed and I most likely wouldn’t choose to stay there again. Still, looking through my photos nearly three months later, I’m definitely rethinking that decision — I’m ready to start packing my bags right now!
