I couldn’t resist trying to shoot last night’s crescent moon, although I wasn’t using a tripod and the image is a little blurry. I was using a setting where the camera takes three shots in succession; so perhaps tonight I’ll get outside with the tripod and see if I can do a little better.
No matter how turbulent the water gets at this spot on the American River, the birds take it all in stride. They’re not too interested in posing for pictures, though!
