Hummingbird morning
I saw quite a few hummingbirds out at Folsom Lake this week, along the trail to Doton’s Point. I feel lucky that I managed to shoot a couple of them — especially with those amazing colors! They really are very cool little birds.

Some days when I’m wandering around at Denio’s I feel a little like I’m visiting a really cool museum — the trick is scouting out the really good stuff from all the other visual distractions. I’ve so many wonderful items lately, I need to spread them across more than one blog post! Old photos:
