Last blush of April
North Texas, the day after Christmas 2018 — the wind was whipping a storm up from the southeast, dark clouds came rolling in, and heavy rain, with the frequent flash and boom of thunderstorms, was soon to follow.

All-Time Favorites — Trying to choose my favorite photo is nearly impossible, but I’ve chosen this image because I love the silhouette of the pigeons’ flight against the grey, overcast sky — and because it reminds me of how happy I felt in that moment, standing in the middle of the bridge, looking down into the Sacramento River and feeling a cool breeze on my face.
I’m focusing on mountain views this week, as I draw closer to the end of my box of professionally photographed slides.
