Memory Monday slides redux, Week 18

Fresh clams on the cook stove

Sequim Bay, Washington State — Our next stop on this northbound road trip is Sequim Bay State Park, located in the northeastern corner of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. This may have been only a brief visit, since I can find only two images, both night shots. Below, you can just make out the shiny 1957 Plymouth Belvedere and the darker outline of a tent, with the bay in the background.

Crossing Puget Sound

After crossing Puget Sound to Whidbey Island, we travel to the northern tip of the island to beautiful Deception Pass State Park. I previously shared some of these images back in February 2018, but here I’ve tried to group them together as close as possible to the order in which they were originally shot.

Barefoot on the beach

Too cold for me!

The waves won this round

Relaxing at the campsite, Deception Pass State Park

Next week I’ll have some more scenic views of Deception Pass State Park!
