Not a good sign
The statue of Ronald Reagan, unveiled in 2015, now sits in the lower rotunda area of the Capitol Building. According to our very entertaining tour guide, this part of the building was formerly known as “the Basement” — but once the former president’s likeness took up residence, the name was officially changed to the “Lower Level.” It just sounds better.
One of the more odd street names around my area — although there’s actually a reason for it. This road runs between Chestnut and Walnut streets. But I’m still glad I don’t have to tell people I live on Chestwall!
