Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: July 23, 2017 Sometimes when you’re hiking, things get left behind: Someone forgot to take this sign down… about three years ago: I like this one-legged sign; and in the background, the opposite of farm-fresh produce — a McDonalds: Either someone is practicing their sculpting skills, or this guy had a very hard fall:
Turkey patrol
I found this small group of turkeys loitering near the entrance to California State Prison, Sacramento, located in Folsom. The sign in the background says “No public access. You are under surveillance” — but I never realized the State of California was using turkeys as prison guards! I was surprised by the lovely iridescent feathers:
