Today I went for my customary morning walk and made a beeline for the Saturday morning farmer’s market in Folsom, just off Sutter Street.  I’ve previously shared a picture from my very first visit back in January.  That was on a cool, very rainy day; this June morning the sky was bright blue and the sun was shining… and the occasional cool breeze felt refreshingly welcome.

The fresh produce was much more abundant this time around, too — the aroma of fresh fruit and the bright range of colors made it all so tempting!

I could have happily bought a little bit of everything I saw… but in the end this is what I came home with:

Next time I may have to bring along a shopping cart to carry home all the edible treasures!
