Fountains, Vintage and Modern
Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week is Fountains.
This week’s topic is Fountains. They can be huge outdoor fountains to the tiniest of indoor zen fountains. Just have fun with this challenge.
The topic sparked a memory for me, so I went digging in my box of old photo prints and found this lovely fountain on a post card my dad sent me from Guadalajara, Mexico, in August 1974:

Fuente del Parque Alcade, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico
On the other end of the spectrum, here’s a drinking fountain I noticed the other day in Folsom that tries to cater to everybody, including (I assume) thirsty dogs:

Drinks for everyone!

I like your last photo. I bet it gets used a lot too!
Really amazing fountain from Guadalajara. I am actually a big fan of fountains. As a interior designer I am most in to indoor fountains, but the majestic wonders of world like the one you posted are extremely interesting too. Thank you for sharing your memory Cristina!
