One of the images I used in Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge today got me thinking back to our Doberman-Rottweiler, Buster, and how much he enjoyed snoozing on our sofa. He was the only one of our dogs ever allowed on the furniture, and he took full advantage of the privilege. As he got older, one of his favorite things was to fall asleep with his head in my lap — usually while I was knitting. I have no pictures of that, but it’s definitely a treasured memory of our beloved Buster, who passed away in the spring of 2010 at the ripe old age of 16.

From the first year of his life…

… to the last year of his life, Buster was a confirmed couch potato.
