Memory Monday, Week 42

IMG_1984

Today I originally meant to share images from a day trip to San Francisco I took with my friend Julie in the mid 1990s; but I feel like I’ve been slightly obsessing over the City lately. So I’ll save those for another time and instead show you some pictures from a bit further north on the California coast. In July 1998 The Big Guy and I decided to escape the valley heat with a quick overnight trip to Bodega Bay. Of course, some serious ocean shore fishing was the main reason for the journey — but there were plenty of other things for me to point my camera at besides fish.

Bodega Head is in the far distance:

The next morning we drove a bit further up the coast to find the perfect fishing spot.

Memory Monday will be taking next Monday off while I dig up some more images to share with you. See you in two weeks!
