I haven’t been out hiking or visiting museums lately, partly because two hours each weekday are now alloted to my new job of dog walking. It’s just one dog, and he lives fairly near me — but he’s been escorting me on a pretty enjoyable tour of streets and neighborhoods I’ve never seen before.

I quickly decided that, at least for now, trying to juggle his leash, the poop bags, and a bottle of water was plenty without toting a bulky camera along, so I took these images with my less-than-excellent phone camera. The dog and I are currently negotiating how many stops to make and for how long, but he’s a reasonable little fellow so I’m sure we’ll both end up satisfied.
