The Adventure Continues… Fern Canyon
Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park is definitely on my wish list of places to visit in the next few years, and Fern Canyon is a fairly small but uniquely beautiful feature of the park. In this 2003 episode of Golden Parks I was intrigued to learn that portions of the second Jurassic Park movie were filmed in this location.
Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park is a 14,000 acre sanctuary of old growth coast redwoods, which offers hiking, nature study, wildlife viewing, beach combing, picnicking, a visitor center with exhibits and a nature store.
Join Huell as he hikes to Fern Canyon, one of this state park’s most enchanting locations.

We were there last year…my first time. It was really special.
