From the bus
I’ve spent most of my life in suburbia, so any visit to San Francisco, with its canyons of steel, is a trip to the big city. Back in August 2016, there was a lot of construction happening in the Financial District near the Embarcardero. My seat on the Amtrak bus gave me a pretty good view as it carried me from the Bay Bridge to Fisherman’s Wharf. My photos also included a lot of reflections from the sun shining through the bus windows, so I was far from satisfied with them — but looking back now, I don’t mind the imperfections so much.
