Memory Monday: Hicks Album, Week 4

I’m a sucker for waterfalls and rapids, to the point where I’ll sometimes spend half my time on a hike trying to capture good shots of foaming water. So this week from the album I’m sharing pictures of fast-flowing streams, most of them shot near Ophir, California, in the spring of 2010. Perfect focus may be lacking in some of these images, but that’s okay — just squint your eyes a bit and imagine a warm spring day, with the roar of rushing water cascading down from mountain streams to the thirsty valley below.
