I meant to include this image in the post I published two days ago, but it took me awhile to find it! I came across this Pacific Hounds Tongue last March while exploring near Rodman Slough, at the north end of Clear Lake; and while the purple still isn’t quite true to life, I think it’s close — especially the blooms in the upper left corner.
