Redwood highway

I really wasn’t very happy, during our trip to the coast last May, to discover that I was going to have to spend one of my precious days to make a 4-hour round-trip drive over to Santa Rosa. It was my own fault, of course; I forgot to pack an essential item, and Santa Rosa was the closest place I could get it. I certainly wouldn’t like to be forced to make that drive again! On the other hand, traffic was light, and Highway 128 runs right through the middle of Navarro River Redwoods State Park. I had never traveled this stretch of road before and wasn’t sure what to expect; soaking up the beauty as I drove among these beautiful trees made me feel a whole lot better about my day.
